History
In 2002, France Lamontagne puts to good use his more than 45 years of experience in mold manufacturing and design for plastic injection, and launches Elfe Plastik. France is determined to accomplish his big dream: own a plastic container production hall.
Situated in the heart of the city of Saint-Damien-de-Buckland, the company occupies 2500 square feet of premises. It comes equipped with an injection-molding machine and employs several full time staff.
The company is expanding rapidly. The acquisition of a second injection press and the hiring of new employees are necessary to honor a backlog of growing orders.
Presented with several projects to further develop his company, Mr. Lamontagne decides to sell half of his shares to Mr. Boucher. With increasing orders, the company moves to a new address: 11 du huitème rang, Saint-Damien, in order to increase space in the work area. This allows Elfe Plastik to invest in new injection presses.
In 2013, Mr. Boucher retired and new shareholders joined the company. Staying true to the Elfe Plastik tradition, the new team is committed to providing quality products that meet customer needs.
Elfe Plastik now sells its products to a large number of packaging distributors and food businesses.
In 2014, the company continues to expand. The investment in new equipment is made, and new products (In-Mold Labeling) are introduced in response to the demand of an increasingly growing clientele.
